General description:
Unlike typical carbon materials such as activated carbon, NCJ has a special high mesoporous structure and a three-dimensional interconnected pore structure. Both mesopores and micropores exist simultaneously, and mesopores are interconnected to form interconnected pores, which can effectively promote the transport of substances within the pores.
Features:
Compared with traditional catalyst carrier activated carbon, the pore structure of NCJ is orderly and controllable in size, which have the following two advantages:
1.Compared to the diameter of the pores, the connecting pores aperture between the pores are smaller, the catalyst is confined within the pores after loading and is not easily agglomerated, which significantly improves catalyst lifespan.
2.Compared with activated carbon, NCJ has larger pores and can load more catalysts, meanwhile the pores will not be blocked by catalyst nanoparticles. Moreover, the aperture and connecting pore size are adjustable. The required pore structure can be precisely designed based on the size of reactants and products, facilitating the entry and exit of reactants and products, which significantly improves efficiency of catalytic.
